Not in North America but I went through similar problems initially. Our church uses an eclectic mix of old and new songs from a range of sources. I wanted a build a strong database to let me quickly pick up a song being played during the offering (or after the benediction) and get the words / chorus very quickly up on screen to help ensure our congregation could always sing along. For me it has been a good way to help extend our 'active' worship into places that are otherwise purely 'listening / reflective'. In that situation - where your tech operator is forced to react on the fly - a good database is essential.

Having gone through the pain, I gotta say - I just love OLP! Service plan's now take me 3-5 mins to prepare and as long as I can recall 2-3 words in a song I hear being played, I can find it and have it projecting in 15-20 seconds.

There doesn't seem to be any private messaging in the Forums at the minute (I'm getting a permissions error anyway) I can maybe talk you through some possible solutions if you you want to email me on boyd_alan <at> sky <dot> com.
