We've been using OpenLP at our church for a several months and I wanted to just say how much we appreciate all the efforts that go in to making OpenLP so useful.
I also wanted to share how we are using OpenLP for people with visual impairments. We use the remote (main) display on android tablets instead of printing out large print hymns etc. The tablets we are using are Hudl 2's (from Tesco here in the UK) but it works on anything that has a browser. We are using Kiosk Browser from Google Play Store to try to lock down the tablet so that the less technically minded don't press the back buttton/ home button etc. by mistake.

Having sat next to my Father-in-law and watched him shuffle the large print sheets in to completely the wrong order it is great that all the users have to do is hold the tablet and the words of course match exactly what is on the projectors with no extra effort.

We just need to make sure any PowerPoints are converted to images before the service and the users will be able to keep up with what is shown during the sermon etc.

Thanks again,
