Hi,
First of all this is a great program and I like it a lot!
<br>
I see there are a lot of discussion on technical issues, but my biggest issue is the GUI it self as I have mentioned in earlier posts. I would very much like to see a focus on how to minimize clicks necessary to add songs, edit songs, etc.
Since Openlp is developed in Qt I guess Kubuntu is a perfect fit, but I have a few comments.
<br>
Flat Style or 3D:
<blockquote style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px 0px 0px 40px; border: none; border-image-source: initial; border-image-slice: initial; border-image-width: initial; border-image-outset: initial; border-image-repeat: initial; padding: 0px;">
Some of the GUI uses a flat style, but here and there I find 3d buttons. Would be nice to see consistency

Media Manager:
<blockquote style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">Leaves too little space for songs shown. </blockquote>
<blockquote style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px 0px 0px 40px; border: none; border-image-source: initial; border-image-slice: initial; border-image-width: initial; border-image-outset: initial; border-image-repeat: initial; padding: 0px;"><blockquote style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">I think that moving "Songs", "Bible" and other categories to tabs would be beneficial.</blockquote><blockquote style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">In Songs: Search field is too big and have a lot of while space over and under text entered.</blockquote><blockquote style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">Too much space between icons and search field.</blockquote><blockquote style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">Search button too big. You could remove the label "search" and replace it with the button</blockquote><blockquote style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">When choosing "Songs" the search field should immediately be active so you do not have to click it to start a search.</blockquote><blockquote style="margin: 0 0 0 40px; border: none; padding: 0px;">In the buttom of the program 1 cm is used for info. One can use this space for showing songs available. Whatever info that is supposed to be shown here could be shown like Google Chrome shows info. Some kind of overlay when necessary.</blockquote><br></blockquote>Service Manager, Theme Manager
<blockquote style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; margin: 0px 0px 0px 40px; border: none; border-image-source: initial; border-image-slice: initial; border-image-width: initial; border-image-outset: initial; border-image-repeat: initial; padding: 0px;">
It should be possible to hide, minimize or maybe have Theme Manager in another tab without closing it.

</blockquote>The GUI can be improved in so many places, reducing the size of headings, icons, vasted space, tabs, clicks, etc. Some of it might be due to the resolution of my laptop, but not all since the same problem can be seen on screenshots from Google Search.
Just look at this image and you'll see what I am talking about http://i1-win.softpedia-static.com/screenshots/OpenLP_1.png

It migh seem like I come off all angry, but I am not. I understand this is Open Source and voluntary work and I really appreciate it. It is meant as a constructive critique.<br>

Thanks for the great work.
