olaleye1962 Can anyone please point me to any list of import file formats for theme, images, and media?, so that when one can recognise what is downloadable on the internet for use.

2. I also need to know the pixel size for a good downloadable video media and pictures from the internet that would be a good quality reproduction under Openlp

3. Any recommendations for online free converter software able to convert online free media/video resources and images into useable formats for Openlp?

Thank you.
tgc For images I would recommend using jpg or png files, and mp4 for video.
The pixel size should preferably match the size of the display/monitor you will display on.
For video conversion I would recommend "handbrake".
milon OpenLP can display pretty much any image/media that your projecting computer can display on its own. I recommend using VLC (https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html) for showing video as it can handle every video format and it integrates easily into OpenLP.

As @tgc said, your video clips should match your screen resolution. Images should either match or be larger - they don't scale up very well and will look grainy or blocky ("pixelated") if you try to scale them up.

I also recommend handbrake (https://handbrake.fr/) for video conversion. It also works well for extracting DVD clips (or even the entire DVD).
olaleye1962 Please can someone tell me the process for importing/inserting new background themes (images and video backgrounds) into the team manager? Thanks
milon To put a different image in the Theme Manager, you either need to create a new theme or edit an existing one.

Have a look at the Theme's section of the manual, and let us know if you still have further questions.
http://manual.openlp.org/themes.html
olaleye1962 Can I project/display a song over a video (by using the video as a theme/background). Please advise how to achieve this if possible.
