ChrisClements Sometimes when trying to add a split to a verse or chorus it doest work see images for reference

milon An optional split is optional. OpenLP will only apply the split of the text won't all fit in the presentation screen. What you've shown is that V1 and C1 see being handled differently, but that could be correct behavior.

What happens when you display this song? Does the text fit?
PaulR Then you will need to force a new screen and not use an optional split. From memory I think you start a new verse but number it the same as the verse you are splitting.
jbloodwo I was just doing a quick test with the first song in the default download and it loos like using the same verse number or adding ---[Verse:1]--- will work. this was a quick test to see if it looked like a viable solution. I will play with this some more tonight to see how this might affect song order

milon I use that approach and it works just fine. If you have multiple instances of, say, ---[Verse:1]--- then they will be displayed in the order they're defined in according to the song editor.
