tneutron
I have been trying to organize worship music between a couple of windows users and a Mac user. Unfortunately we haven't been able to share anything. The price tag on the big programs are too much for us. This is a blessing and works great!

Thanks so much. I would like to contribute, but my skills are in fixing jets, not code. Can I make a $ donation to the effort?

googol
"Can I make a $ donation to the effort?"

As fare as I know you can, but I am sorry, that I did not find the link right now. However, have a look at OpenLP, I am quite sure that a link is provided in the programme.

:-)

gushie
There isn't actually a way of donating money at present.

However, this post has triggered a discussion as to what we'd do with any donations we may get, and how to manage it in an international friendly way. Should this discussion come to any useful conclusion, we'll be sure to post back!

We're just pleased that OpenLP is useful to you :)

googol
Your right gushie... I meant the Contribute button in openlp 2.0... and I thought people could donate there... but it only links to http://openlp.org/en/documentation/introduction/contributing.html

Cheers

tneutron
Well, thanks again for the program. I'll check back once in awhile to see if there IS something that I qualify for. I have a couple of prorgammer types in church that may like to help. I'll pass it on.

God Bless!

Tim

sjpslabbert
Hi Gushie,

For donations you could try Paypal. They are easy to use and makes international payments real easy. Until very recently South Africans were not allowed to receive payment via Paypal, only make payments. FNB changed that during March. If you have a FNB account you can easily get money from anywhere.

You can read here for more:

http://www.southafrica.info/business/trends/newbusiness/paypal-260310.htm

Hope this helps the discussion
