Barbhardi
I am in the process of evaluating Openlp for use in our church. When I open the appropriate window for creating a new song the buttons to finalize the song are so far down on the screen that I can barely get to them and it takes several tries to click on it. I see a mention of a "classic view" which looks different from the one I saw when I opened the new song window and looks like it would be easier for me to use. However, I cannot find out how to switch to that view. Can anyone help me? I am using Windows 7.

wstout
Just to eliminate something simple what screen resolution or you running? A really low resolution could cause that problem. Also, if you are on a netbook that could be an issue also.

Wesley

gushie
The Classic view (Options -> Settings menu, Slide settings tab, Use "Add Song" Wizard unticked) has an even bigger window than the wizard. So if your screen resolution struggles with the wizard, then this might not be able to help you.

Barbhardi
My screen resolution is 1366 x 768, the highest available for my laptop. No, I'm not on a network. So far nothing has worked to reduce the size of the edit screen.

thanks.

raoul
My Windows virtual machine has a resolution of 1600x768, and there's plenty room on the screen for the Wizard and the Classic view. Are you sure you haven't just moved the window down or something? Perhaps take a screenshot and upload it to ImageShack and give us the link to the image?

torben
Just downloaded OpenLP 1.9.2 for Mac. My Mac notebook is 10.6.4.

In the Media Manager I can't find any place to create a new song etc. And in Options -> Settings I don't find a Slide settings tab.

What can I do?

raoul
Firstly, the above post is in reference to 1.x, which is rather different to 1.9.x.

Secondly, go to Tools > Plugin List and enable all the plugins, and then you should see the "Songs" item appear in the media manager.
