Hi, I'm using openlp 1.9.3 and it won't start. I get a message saying openlp.exe stopped working. no error number, Windows 7. OpenLp 1.2.6 works fine. Help please!
Did you previously have 1.9.2 installed? Please read the release announcement to fix this.
I had 1.9.2 sometime ago but only worked once, so I removed it, deleted all folders and removed all registry entries.
Did you also delete %APPDATA%/openlp ?
Yep, all files and folders to do with openlp removed.
Run OpenLP in debug mode, and send the resulting log file to info (at) openlp.org please.
email sent. thanks
Hi, I got your e-mail, and you haven't done as I said. You need to delete the "%APPDATA%/openlp" directory.
OK, I see what you mean. I have now deleted the folder then run in debug mode. new file emailed. Thanks
Do you have powerpoint installed?
Hi, seems to be working now. after looking through the output file and saw something to do with powerpoint controller, I decided to remove Microsoft office 2007. Even though I had Visual c++ installed, it seems there was still aproblem.
Thanks, seems the problem was powerpoint. Now another issue. I have used this bible csv with previous version but does not seem to work with 1.9.3. This is wahta I get;

It looks like your CSV might have an error or two in it? At a guess I would say that there is either a quote missing, or a semi-colon where a comma should be (or vice versa). Did you at any stage open it?
