Mine is Toshiba Satellite L510i, 2.87 RAM (it's 4, reduced due to my 32-bit version). Centrino @ 2.2 GHz.

I tried several presentations file, ranging from 37 kB (a plain, animated text with the preset background design from Ms Office 2010) to 677 kB (which includes many external images, animation, and transition). They all worked fine and I can't trigger the error anymore :D

I want to ask questions regarding the compabitility:

1. When no PowerPoint instance is running, launching OpenLP 1.2.7 also launch a PowerPoint instance, with the PowerPoint being in "unopened" mode (blinking, as if launched but not yet opened) next to openlp.org in the taskbar. Is this normal?

2. I also have Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer (for 2010) installed on my machine. Isn't it wiser to use only the viewer and not the PowerPoint client itself? Or are there any drawbacks of using the viewer?

3.a) Double clicking a presentation item on the OOS changes what's opened on the PowerPoint client, but does not bring the PowerPoint client to top of screen, instead leave OpenLP 1.2.7 as the top window.b) Selecting a presentation item on the Media Manager and choosing Go Live also change the file opened on the PowerPoint client, but do take the client to top of screen. Is this difference normal?4. My computer is not connected to projector all the time. So I can't really test the beta on the suitable environment everyday. We're not a church, just a student fellowship that is on service every Friday noon, after class.
