We use OpenLP at our church on a PC to present and project songs, but as a praise leader I prepare for the service at home, and I use our PC. However, I'm about to purchase a MacBookPro, and wonder if I can use OpenLP on a Mac too, for my preparation.
Thanks,
Kayzy

Hi Kayzy,
If you're using OpenLP 1.2.x, it is not cross platform, and is currently in maintenance mode so no further development is happening on it.
If you're using OpenLP 1.9.x (the development releases of OpenLP 2.0), then there is both an OS X and a Windows version. Unfortunately OpenLP 1.2 and 1.9 (aka 2.0) are not compatible.
Thanks Raoul,
Sorry to take so long to reply - I didn't even know what OS X meant when you responded to my query! I've since learned better, so I'll have to wait till the new version is released to use it on the Mac, and continue on the PC in the meantime.
I've been using the Mas OS X version and it works pretty good. You may get some error messages and I've had an issue with the font size getting small a couple of times, just restarted the program and the font size is back to normal.
Hello aef6259!
If can reproduce these errors, please consider to file some bug reports: http://wiki.openlp.org/bugs
The problem with OS X is, that there is hardly anybody who can help us testing on OS X.
Cheers
