I run Office 2010. PowerPoint will not load. Is 2010 not supported? If not, that's fine. Our church has 2003.

It should be supported, however I only have 2007 so can't test it very well. Is the PowerPoint setting disabled on the Presentations tab in the Settings? A debug log would be useful of your attempts to open a powerpoint.

OpenLP 2.0 takes FOREVER to open. My laptop is not top of the line but not slow by any means. I have read several other posts concerning this same issue, so I will see if the next beta release improves this issue.

This is a known issue, which we're trying to resolve. If you can following the instructions on this page http://wiki.openlp.org/Scratchpad:Speed_Problems it would help.

Now you mention it, I've had similar issues with this too, although I don't normally have to re-add the song. If you file a bug we can investigate further.

4. In the new release, was the option to import songs from the CCLI/SongSelect website disabled? That is my main means of importing songs.

It was disabled since it wasn't yet functional, and we decided to hide everything that wasn't implemented yet. We're hoping to include it in a future release.

Do you have an email program set up and configured on the Windows machine? If not, please feel free to email the error code to support (at) openlp (dot) org via your usual client.

7. wasn't this version supposed to have video behind text option? no biggie, I was just wondering.

This is possible by right clicking on a video in the media manager once the song is live, and choosing the background option. Note it isn't perfect, video speed and looping delays are areas we're struggling with. We hope to make it a theme option in the future.
