Hello,

I've been a long time user of ZionWorx, but when our Church laptop died at the start of a service a month ago I thought I'd start looking for an alternative piece of software to use on a new laptop. After looking at a few other free applications I decided to use OpenLP and have been very impressed with the features and the way it works.

One thing I liked with ZionWorx was the way that you moved through song verses using the keyboard. In most software I have tested it seems that to move between verses you would use the up and down arrow keys and this would show the next or previous verse. This is ok if you are singing the verses in the order that they are in the software but if you jump back to verse X then I find it quite messy flicking through the other verses to get there.

I know that I could use the mouse to select the verse I want but I'm a big fan of my keyboard and find I can acheive most things quicker on it than using the mouse.

In ZionWorx you would use the arrow keys to highlight the next verse and then press enter to send it to the live output, with it default highlighting the next verse. This, in my opinion, presents a far slicker presentation if you have to jump around songs a lot - without using the mouse.

For now I'm using a USB mouse :D

thanks
