computer guy
I am getting a warning that my Power Show license has expired. I don't have a program called Power Show. I have Power Point. Is that part of OpenLP? Is is something I need. Any Clue?

mhalbrook
Odds are it's http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html not part of OpenLP, but a 3rd Party application for PowerPoint.

raoul
OpenLP is open source software, we don't do expiring licenses. We use a special license, the GNU General Public License, that ensures that our code remains open to everyone.

As mhalbrook pointed out, it is likely some other application.

computer guy
ok, I was wrong. It is powerpoint. When I start OpenLP Powerpoint opens at the same time. THat is when the warning pops up. Now the question is, how did it get there and how do I stop it?

computer guy
ok, got rid of it through Uninstall Programs. still don't know where it came from though. It must have downloaded with something.

gushie
It was nothing to do with OpenLP, it doesn't use PowerShow nor was it installed with OpenLP.

You'll have to ask on PowerShow or PowerPoint forums.

computer guy
I had downloaded several things trying to find a work around for playing DVD's on a second monitor, it may have come with them. I know it wasn't OpenLP. It just popped up everytime I started Opnelp, because of Powerpoint.

googol
Hello,

Maybe I can help you to solve your initial problem: http://wiki.openlp.org/Scratchpad:Tips#Configure_VLC_on_Windows_to_play_a_video_on_the_second_monitor

Regards
