I've seen some posts on the forum asking for the possibility for more customization on the slide's appearance, especially regarding the styling of the song information (author, title, etc). Such fine-grained customization options would be hard to implement, and there will always be someone wanting a little bit more control. That is why I suggest a solution (although someone probably already thought of this).

From what I understand, the slides are created using HTML and rendered using WebKit. Probably the themes are converted to CSS and then applied to the HTML, wich is fine for most. But, why not add an optional box on the theme to allow ther user to type his own CSS code? The code would be written after the self-generated code, taking precedence. Aside from that, all that would be needed would be to create a well-tought and documented markup, with separate spans, divs and classes for the parts, for exemple:

...

...

...

I believe this functionality would allow a great deal of control by the power-user, while not taking much development effort and not making the set of theme configurations overwelming for begginer users. Again, the idea is simple and maybe it was already suggested, in that case forget this post.
