<p>I followed the steps several times and it was frustrating because I thought it was something I was doing wrong. I did it command line following the instructions and I also did it by added the source through software manager and it did the same thing. Well I say it did.. I actually got further with the command line but however today when my mint said it had updates, it would fail on the ppa saying it couldn't connect or find it. I was able however to get this to go away by editing the source in software manager and changing the distrobution to lucid instead of the automatically detected maya and the problem went away. I did this for all the 3 core packages. So while it was trying to be helpful and automatically detect the distro its on, it was ultimately the cause of the problem. I am using the ubuntu based and was able to get openlp up and going.</p>
