<p>There are a few reasons the core devs might reject feature requests:</p>
We just don't have the time/manpower to work on it, or
It doesn't fit with the current set of features proposed for the version in development (and see above), or
It doesn't ft with OpenLP's core purpose (and see above), or
It might not be legal or ethical
<p>Most of the time we are more than willing to entertain an idea or a feature request. but we hit reason number 1 or 2. Sometimes we hit reason number 3, and due to reasons number 1 and 2, we reject it. When we reject something for reasons 1, 2 and 3 we most often don't mean, "never," we just mean, "not now."</p><p>Martin, if you want to engage in discussion with the developers, I highly recommend you do so on the developer mailing list. You can better garner the attention of the developers, we promise not to be nasty to you, and that is what it is there for.</p>
