a good extension would be a text preview of the next slide. It would be good to see e.g. the first line of the chorus after the last line of the first verse.
Where would this appear? Do you mean seeing both the current slide and the next slide in the bottom pane of the live view? Or maybe seeing the next slide in the preview?
Seeing what's coming next is a useful feature but isn't this already visible in the list of slides, ie. top part of the live view pane?
One small issue we've faced is when the operator starts singing from the OpenLP window instead of from the projector, they sometimes forget to change the slide because they already have the next verse but nobody else does :-)

Yes that is, what I mean.

Yes, that is one reason for the feature Request. With fast songs, it is helpful if the verses quick changes. Also is it helpful to see the first line of the next slide if you are in single-screen mode. I often use the single-screen mode as worship leader (e.k. in a small group) and I use a usb-foot-pedal to turn the slides.
The stage view currently allows you to see what is coming up next. So one way to do this would be to use stage view on a second device (a laptop or tablet)
Hi.. ..a further step would be to let the text scroll upwards - so the first (or two first) lines is visible, and then when you transition the rest of the verse scrolls up from below, this would create a very smooth transition from one verse to the other - would also be good to have the opportunity to set the scroll-speed.

Scrolling is also on the feature request list!
Hello,
does anybody knows, if this feature was implemented?
