Hi,
I see there was a post in 2010 regarding the topic, but it doesnt realy help me at this stage.
Can you tell me if you have the Afrikaanse "Liedboek" available in electronic format. I do have the Liedboek in electronic format but it looks like it is intergrated in a type of java application.
Hope someone can help?

I'm that brother. I type out a lot of Liedboek songs as needed, but I am at this stage unsure about the copyright laws and how they relate to the CCLI licenses that churches need to use.
I will see what I can find out, and then perhaps, if things go well, we can work on getting the Liedboek into an easy-to-use format.
PS. It is really easy to copy-and-paste new songs into OpenLP as needed, which is what I do. Never takes me more than 2 minutes to create a new song if I have access to the words in a document or file.
Regarding the Liedboek songs. I have all the songs exept for the Psalm already converted to OpenLP format. I am also in possesion of all the Songs (151 - 602) in Powerpoint format. The Psalms is still in Word format, but this also include the old 1973 Toitius Psalms.
It's just sending a database of words to other people I'm worried about.
Does anyone have any advice?
Hi,
I managed to convert the Liedboek from 1 to 602 into xml fromat that you can import into Openlp. If you are interested you can send me a mail. But like Etienne-Snyman said - not sure what the legal implications is but I am sure if you are a valid license holder there should not be a problem
Are these XML files still available?
