I did a Search about importing and using presentations (PowerPoint and Impress) and saw a number of old posts about it.
I would like to have this capability for programs, particularly because we sometimes have visiting speakers who bring presentations with them
Running LibreOffice 4.2.3.3 in Debian Linux, the presentation config said that Impress and PP were unavailable. And when I tried to import an Impress file in Media Manager, I was told it was unsupported.

Of course I am looking forward to the 2.2 release where I can use the latest from Libreoffice and not wait for debian team to import Libreoffice and do the testing work on python-uno.
- Tried to load .odp file in Media Manager. The progress bar at the bottom went to 100% and stayed there. Task manager said OpenLP not responding, so I ended it.
- Tried to load .pptx, and progress went to 50% before it hung.
- Tried to load .ppt and was told it was imcompatible (with PowerPoint Viewer?)
