RSV CE Bible

Hi..

Is it possible to include RSV-CE (Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition) Bible in OpenLP? As far as I know, that version is the most common among Catholics & used by Vatican.

Hi,

According to the licensing page,

"The RSV and NRSVtranslations may not be duplicated or otherwise made available via open source software."

I don't know where you'd get a copy that you could import into OpenLP, I'm afraid.

Ups..I didn't notice that statement. My simple thought if that's available in BibleGateway & I also saw that at several Android free apps, so we could get that.

That's not necessarily the case. The OpenLP project is not allowed to distribute it, but if you were able to get it in electronic format and import it into OpenLP that should be legal under "Fair Use"
