I'm feeling incredibly frustrated. After successfully installing OpenLP on two different PCs at home, an old XP laptop and a Windows 7 desktop, with absolutely no problem, I experimented with it and was consistently impressed with how easy it is to get great results.
Today I decided the time had come to have a live run at church. I did not have internet access there, so I ran the OpenLP-2.0.5-setup.exe from my memory stick, as already tested at home. When I clicked on Finish, instead of OpenLP opening, it shows the splash screen but doesn't get any further: I just got an "OpenLP has stopped working" message.
My first thought was that the internet was required - the first time I did this, I had a message to say that various sample data could not be installed.
I brought the computer home, set up internet access and had exactly the same problem. No doubt there is something obvious I'm missing, or something in the configuration of the church laptop is causing the problem.
I've tried exploring as many possible sources of error as I can think of, searched your forums, bug reports etc., without success.
The openlp.log simply contains a series of entries like:

...
2015-01-18 15:39:34,414 openlp.core.lib.toolbar [last line]

The configuration of the PC is:
Windows 7 Premium Family Edition (French)
32 bit
Processor AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 2.00 GHz

Any pointers or advice very greatly received!
