How can I cast presentation software to tv via google cast (Solved)

I've just installed OpenLP and being new at this, I'm clueless.  The problem is that we are using a TV as our projection and need to connect wirelessly.  We have been using google cast in the past to display things but we've been limited.  Is there a way we can use a casting software for OpenLP?  If not, what options can you recommend?

To cast, using Google Cast, there is a drop down arrow by the "Cast To" field.  It gives you the opportunity to cast your desktop to TV.  I haven't finished setting up openLP yet, however because I'm struggling to import the Bible versions we need for the service as I don't know where to get the Bible file it is requesting.  I'm just praying that once I've got it up and running, I'll be able to use the "Cast Desktop" feature.  If that doesn't work, can anyoneprovide any other alternatives?

I am able to Cast from my windows 10 PC to my Vizio Smart TV but I am only able to mirror desktop and not extend to it. Is there a way to extend screen as I can using AirPlay with IOS?
