joy I can't import PowerPoint presentations from Office 2007. in the configure box PowerPoint is greyed out and says unavailable. What am I doing wring? I am new to the whole worship software field.
raoul Hi Joy,

Firstly, you've indicated that you're using an old version of OpenLP. I recommend upgrading to 2.4.3. If that doesn't fix the problem we'll need you to give us a debug log file. See the troubleshooting section in the manual for more information on getting a debug log file:

https://manual.openlp.org/troubleshooting.html#i-have-been-asked-to-email-a-debug-log-where-do-i-find-this

joy I seem to have figured the problem. The new laptop had a free office type software pre installed. I have uninstalled it and things seem to have resolved. Would you still recommend installing 2.4.3? will that change any of the settings as it has taken me 2 weeks to figure out how to make things work with our system so far?! I'm on a steep learning curve. Thanks for your help.
raoul 2.4.3 is the latest version, which includes a bunch of bugfixes. If you run into any issues using another version we'll just tell you to upgrade and then try again. OpenLP will keep your settings.

Have you read the manual at all?
joy Yes I'm working my way through the manual as I figure out what we need it to do. Screens etc are a whole new concept in our church.
