Feature Request (Android): "Blank Display to" on every activity screen

Making smooth, behind-the-scenes transitions is difficult when the user must swipe to the Display activity screen just to mute the display.  Could a display mute toggle be provided on the Service and Live activity screens to make the transition a little faster?

Version 2 of the Android has removed the swipe's.

Removing the swipes was a move in the right direction, however it did not improve ease of access to the blanking feature since two actions are still required to blank the screen (accessing the button, then making a list selection).  A one-press toggle button would still be ideal.
