<p>
I am making a few suggestions for faster live use:
</p>
<p>
- Bigger navigation buttons.
</p>
<p>
- Notification area.
</p>
<p>
- Keypad button function assignments.
</p>
<p>
- Scroll wheel mouse advances slide up/down.
</p>
<p>
I wish the navigation buttons were bigger and the color change was more distinct. I admit I'm part of the"over 40" crowd. I am also have a little red/green blindness. When I press the button to turn output off, I can't really tell it's changed color.
</p>
<p>
I suggest the buttons to be twice the current size (4 times the screen area).
</p>
<p>
I would also like a "notification area" to tell me that the blank screen is activated, output is cut-off, etc. This area should be red and blinking.
</p>
<p>
To more quickly navigate between slides, I suggest that OpenLP automatically assign numeric keys on the keypad to jump to specific slides:1 -- slide 1, 2 -- slide 2, etc.
</p>
<p>
In the live screen, instead of saying "Slide" in blue, it should say "Slide 1", "Slide 2", etc.
</p>
<p>
Other keys on the keypad could be assigned to other functions: blank screen, next song, etc.
</p>
<p>
Regarding the scroll wheel, this feature has been mentioned in a few places, but more as an ancillary topic. I want to be sure this particular feature request gets more attention.

P.S. I have a background doing computer programming and software QA testing at Xerox.

Thank you.
