Adding Impress presentation

I'm running OpenLP 2.4 on a Raspberry Pi (Raspian Stretch) and it's working great (other than some weird VLC/Bluetooth issue...)
Every time I try to add an Impress file to the Library I get the following error, whether it is a freshly created presentation or one one created on another machine. Anyone else have this problem, or have any ideas what's causing it? They all run fine within Impress, but OpenLP is not happy. Is it worth trying to save in different/older versions of the format?

  • Ryan.....The best I can suggest is to look for your temp directory and remove it...but I have no raspberry pi experience to tell you where the temp directory could be....I have asked for help from the developers and am waiting for their reply...You may get another suggestion when they reply.
  • Hi @RyanT, where is your presentation file? Are you saving it to /home/pi/.local/share/openlp/presentations/Impress/Pre-service.odp ?

The /home/pi/.local/share/openlp/ directory is used by OpenLP, don't put any files in there manually.
  • Yes, I had stored them in there temporarily! I had done the same with the Media folder and not had a problem, but mae culpa. Everything has been moved out now. Moving them out allowed the importing to work perfectly - thanks both.
