does open lp work with mac os catalina version 10.15.4?

By locking up do you mean "the mouse turns to flywheel at times and returns to normal after some time" or something else?

the only way I can exit the program is to do a force quit.  I never see the flywheel.  I am also using ProPresenter 6 and the problem decreases a lot after exiting out of ProPresenter 6.  But problem is not eliminated
