OpenLP has installed okay, but won't run. Initially this was because a couple of gnome-xxx packages were out of date. I've updated these, but OpenLP still won't start up. Any help appreciated.
Bol'shoye spasibo, Mr Holodlev (thank you very much, in case I got the wrong language!) That command did exactly what was necessary. It now starts up fine.
Is there some extra dependency then, that the installation procedure of OpenLP needs to be aware of, on Linux?
If it's of any help, I've attached a screenshot of the start-up error I got. (But, just to confirm, the problem is now resolved. Do I need to mark this discussion as 'closed' or 'resolved' or something, now?)
I'm not very good at solving such problems, I can't advise anything else. If everything works, then nothing needs to be installed. I don’t know how programmers test this application if for many people the application cannot run in Linux. Why this package will not be added to the list of dependencies during installation is also unclear.
OpenLP is an open source project run by volunteers, so things only happen if people like you and me get around to it. A few of the developers use Linux although the development version works fine, and dependencies only seem to be an issue on distributions using Ubuntu repositories.
The stabe version of OpenLP is about 4 years old now, which is why dependencies might be a bit different now days. Fortunately we're getting close to a new OpenLP release which should fix the dependency issues. Although I do not think we can change the packaging in ubuntu until the next major release comes out.

Could you provide any more information that could help? ie:
I helped advice from a neighboring topic for Ubuntu 20:

I can't find my post to update it but 2 issues in Linux Mint Cinnamon fixed
the dist utils about fixed it where openlp comes up just fine
where pdf's didn't work installing mupdf fixed the problem.
Everything is fine now on 2.4.6 and Cinnamon Linux mint 20
