Hello,
I run OpenLP on my laptop for our Bible study. I tried installing 2.9.2 on it after performing an uninstall (and deleting %appdata%/openlp folder and deleting the registry entry), but I can't get 2.9.2 to open on my laptop. Out of curiosity, I installed it on my desktop and it worked just fine. I can't figure out why it is that this won't open. I am running Windows 10 64-bit. Here is the openlp.log: https://pastebin.com/Sx11ZbCE
Any advice or tips would be appreciated! I'm really excited about the video background feature and not having to use 2.2 workarounds to have a video background.
Thanks!

When you say it won't open, do you mean you just get the splash screen or nothing at all?
Sorry, it just hangs on the splash screen.
I suspect OpenLP is either displaying the splash screen on top of the program interface or is starting on what it thinks is another screen. There is a post in the forum somewhere about pressing certain keys to get rid of the splash screen but I can't remember what they were. If you have a secondary monitor/TV/projector available it might be worth plugging it in just in case.
You can try clicking on the splash screen and pressing the ESC key.
Clicking on the splash screen and pressing ESC key it says not responding and whites out the Splash Screen.
@sschruhl The other thing to try is to press the TAB key 6 times and then press the ESC key. This approach assumes the application is still set to the default view.
Pressing F12 may toggle the Live screen that the splash screen is displaying on....
On some versions you can type a Capital D to display the desktop.
The application becomes unresponsive while opening it. None of these button combos are actually triggering anything because the application itself is freezing before it can open.
Unfortunately the log file doesn't really give me any clues on what the problem is. OpenLP stops when it has to set the global theme, so it might be related to that. Is there any disk activity happening at the time?
Have you tried removing OpenLP completely, deleting OpenLP registry, deleting or renaming if you need the data, all OpenLP folders and then reinstalling?
