I'm revising the translation of OpenlLP, but I need a clarification, in several fields that I encounter in Transifex I find some special characters in the middle of the words, for example: line 12 Displ&ay, how should I consider the character & ? should I put it in the same position as the original? In the Italian translation it would be Visualiz&za
Thanks for any suggestion.

It's used for keyboard shortcuts, indicating what key needs to be pressed for that action: https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/linguist-translators.html#alt-key-accelerators
You'll need to co-ordinate the translations for each section so that there is not the same shortcut for two options. Alternatively, you can leave it out because it's not mandatory.
perfect, it will not be easy to coordinate the choice of the key with a translation where the same letter of choice may not be present.
Thanks
