Hi,

We've been asked by our service leader if we can type in things that the congregation call out (things they're thankful for) and display them in real time. We use OpenLP and I can't think of an easy way to do this. Has anyone else had experience of this or can think of a way that we can do it easily? If not we'll just revert to a flipchart and thick marker pen!

Easily Done.

Create a custom slide called eg. Forum.

Add it to the service.

Edit it in real time and select "GoLive" each time you update it.

Or you could use the "Alert" facility.

Great - thanks. Had rulled out the alert facility as we want to keep all the text on screen. Will have a play with custom slides.

A friend of mine uses OpenLP in their church, and they do this. All the prayer requests get put into a custom slide, and displayed immediately.
