OpenLP (both 2.4.6 and 2.9.4) interface distorted and inaccessible - Windows 11, previously working

I have been running OpenlP 2.9.4 on Windows 11 without any major issues. This morning, OpenLP launched with a zoomed and distorted interface.

I have tried: unistalling, deleting data folder, deleting appdata/local/openlp folder, reinstalling, installing 2.4.6, installing portable version, uninstalling via Revo-Uninstaller, and removing all files and registry entries, using CCleaner to remove prefetch data and window location history, changing windows compatibility settings and different DPI scaling options. No change.

The 2.4.6 version displays differently, but the library is blank and inaccessible and the "re-run first-time wizard" fails with an error.

I did not change anything in OpenLP, or update versions.

OpenLP is just suddenly 100% unusable. The only thing I can think of that might have changed is maybe a Windows update.

I thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

  • This is a Windows display issue. I can't remember the specifics (I don't use Windows), but I think there is an option in the Windows display settings related to HiDPI displays that you need to check. If you search the forums, you may find the solution.
