Hi there, I can load images in the library and can add images to service the first time and it works.
However, once I save, close and reopen the service, all images have the "bin" icon and when I click it says: "Missing Display Handler, Your item cannot be displayed as the plugin required to display it is missing or inactive. "
So I need to add those images again to the service.
I'm using OpenLP 2.9.4.277-2464d8303 on Manjaro Linux KDE, from AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openlp-git
Thanks in advance!

It's similar to this one: https://forums.openlp.org/discussion/996/powerpoint-on-reload
But for me it's images instead of PowerPoint, I tried both png and jpeg, but no lock yet.
Hi,
am using OpenLP 2.9.4 on Windows 11 and can't recover images in saved files - have error message
Please suggest solution

Dietmar
Correction - Error occurred on 2.9.5
I uninstalled and reinstalled - still same error
Uninstalled 2.9.5 and reinstalled 2.9.4 - seems OK
Any Comments ?
I didn't have any issues with 2.9.4 but this is what I am experiencing with 2.9.5.
When an image is placed in a service, one of two things happens after the service is saved and reopened:
1) The service file gets corrupted and will not open any service item from the image down (if the image is a GIF). All service items above the image will appear as normal even though this error pops up.
2) The following error appears when trying to display the image (if the image is a JPG or PNG).
I downloaded the current master from gitlab today and the problem seems solved. I was able to save a service with pictures. After restart the pictures are always there, selectable and presentable
How do I download 2.9.5 with the fix for images not loading with saved service? The master from gitlab with the fix.
