OpenLP hangs on splash screen
Hi I wonder if anyone can help. We have been using OpenLp for several years but recently it has stopped working. It loads as far as the splash screen and then hangs. If we try to start it again we are told that Open LP is already running. I have updated all the drivers, ensured that we are using the very latest version of Windows 10 but all to no end.

I don't think it's hanging. I think your display screen is covering your main view. Try pressing Esc or Tab a few times and then Escape.

I tried your suggestion but still cant get past the flash screen. When I checked the tasked manager the programme does appear to be running and using memory (17.6%). I wonder if I could have a corrupted file somewhere - but which one. Certainly got me puzzled.

Do you have a second screen configured as an extended desktop on your computer? If not could you try plugging one in? I think you will find that OpenLP is running on the second screen.

Many thanks for your help. It finally, after many hours of tearing my hair out, turned out to be a corrupted Windows file causing the problem. Everything is now working fine.
