DonS
We officially started using Openlp for our Sunday service today. It went off without a hitch. I have been using Openlp for youth group for a few weeks and testing for months.

We upgrade to 1.0.2 when it came out. After upgrading to 1.0.2 we started having a issue with display 2(projector). When we start Openlp we dont get the Openlp splash screen on display 2. I found that if I go into Options-Settings-Display Settings and change the monitor to display lyrics from 2 to 1 close that out the open it back up and change it from 1 to 2 everything works. As long as I know what to do its not a problem for me(just cant miss church). Wondering if anyone else has this issue with 1.0.2 or if Im doing something wrong.

Any thoughts?

Don

California

gushie
I can't say I've had this issue.

Just to rule out a few things that may be different to our installation:

1. Do you run openlp.org when your computer is not connected to the projector?

2. Do you connect the projector prior to booting Windows?

DonS
The computer stays connected to the projector. It has only happened since the upgrade to 1.0.2.

I should have mentioned that if I move the mouse it will show up on the projector. I dont know and should see if a background pic shows up on windows startup. We have the background set to black so I assume its there since the mouse can be seen.

DonS

California

loopie159753
I have the same issue but even if I move my mouse it still wont show up. I have to go to options, settings and then display settings. I dont have to make any changes I just have to click OK and then it will display. I tried this on my work laptop with a second monitor as well as the computer we use at church and it does the same thing. I went back to version 1.0.1 because of this and some other issues.

rgasper
I am having this issue with 1.0.2 I have to go to settings and switch to monitor 1 and then back to monitor 2 before it will show the presentaion on the projector. It sounds like this may be a common problem? I will be doing some more trouble shooting, although would like any feedback that would help. Thanks

Robbey

DonS
Well its official Im not crazy. PTL

I have a Nvdia graphics card are we all using an Nvidia?

DonS

wstout
I have been having a similar problem. I didn't have the computer hooked to the projector when I installed and first ran openlp to set a default. I am wondering if that could possibly be the issue?

Wesley`

raoul
Hi guys, I think I've fixed this problem. Please contact me via the private messaging system if you want to test this for me.

Jamys
Have found that after 4 weeks of working with 1.0.2 it decided (on Easter Sunday) to only display a blank screen. Have just upgraded to on 1.0.3, an no change unfortunately. Any clues?

raoul
I'm presuming you've tried a number of things, including re-setting the projection screen? Please also supply us with more details of your setup.

Jamys
I have now used system restore to 3 weeks ago, then uninstalled 1.0.1, then installed 1.0.3, and it seems to be working fine at the moment. So not sure went wrong with it.
