PowerPoint Slides not displaying

I have loaded V3.0.2 to a spare laptop with Office 2007 loaded on it to test the new version before loading on main machines. However I am unable to get the slides of PowerPoint presentations to display. Get the error.

"An error occurred in the PowerPoint integration and the presentation will be stopped. Restart the the presentation if you wish to present it."

OpenLP extracts the presentation slides but gives the error when you try to display them.

First is this a PowerPoint Error or an OpenLP one?

Secondly am I expecting to much for Office 2007 to work with the new version. If so which versions will work please?

Same issues here too. Running Windows 10 and PowerPoint 2007. We held off updating for a long time and decided to give it a shot with 3.0.2, but still not working.

This is a known issue with PowerPoint 2007, which does not seem to happen with more recent versions of PowerPoint. We're currently looking into it.

I'm using the latest (Office 365) version in a Win 11 environment and PowerPoint loads but each time I try to change slide it just opens another instance of the presentation.
