Good morning All,
I was finally able to get video backgrounds to work, praise the Lord for that, but there is just one thing I was wondering.
Is it possible to scale the video backgrounds to the screen, just like images do? Our projector is in the 4:3 aspect ratio, do to our screen being that ratio, and videos are super small in the 16:9 ratio. I know that worshiptools presenter does something like this, and was just curious if OpenLP is capable of doing the same?

OpenLP essentially just tells VLC to play the video in a specific location on the screen. Technically, OpenLP could probably also tell VLC to do some scaling, but I don't know that we necessarily want to go down that route.
OpenLP does however provide a way for you to add additional command line arguments to VLC from within OpenLP, so if you know how to tell VLC to do that, you can add it into your OpenLP configuration, and it should work.
I did try giving the extra arguments a shot one time, and maybe I'm not using it right, because I've not had any luck on getting it to change anything.
I've tried entering it as such:
I had seen that the manual talks about the extra arguments but provides no examples on how to use it.
The second one is the way to do it. Can you check the log file and see if that has any clues for you? See the trouble-shooting section in the manual for how to find the log file.
I looked in the log file, but I didn't notice anything.
I am running OpenLP on windows 10, so I don't know if that would make a difference on how the command works? In the media tab it mentions needing to restart, is that just a restart of OpenLP or a PC restart?
Just OpenLP needs to be restarted.
