Compiling Linux Version

I downloaded the Linux version 1.03 (tar.gz).  How do I compile this on Ubuntu?

    1.0.3 is Windows only (although it has been run under Wine)

    The 1.0.3 tar.gz is likely to be the windows source code. It doesn't build under linux.

    Version 2.0 is undergoing development and this is being written in python and will run under Linux. Talk to us on IRC if you want to find out more, or if you want to dive in then look at wiki.openlp.org
