OpenSong Import
Hello,
I've been sent an OpenSong database, the verses and chorus are labelled as [v1], [c] etc and aren't separated by a clear line.
Has anyone made a cleaner for this type of file, so it separates the verses, removes the tags and, preferably, repeat the chorus after each verse?
edit: I've made a PHP script which places the song number in the title (in the XML) and replaces the verse/chorus tags with an empty line. Doesn't duplicate the chorus though. If you'd like a copy email me on sam at cowjam.net or send me a private message.
This is based on songs being in individual files. I got the song database from http://www.minehead-baptist.com/resources/opensong/

The script at http://sites.google.com/site/ricepudd/myopenlputilities#opensongsongs makes quite a hard attempt to do some of this, so you might want to see if that does what you want.
