rdenbak
First of all: the new look & feel of version 2 is great. I'm currently using Easlislides, which is a great alternative (sorry), but the looks of version 2.0 is really great.

OpenLP 1.x has been the first system I looked at but it was missing a vital feature: dual language for songs.

For me an important feature would be: dual language for songs. Easislides works great in this aspect and OpenLP would really benefit from this feature.

And with the possibility to switch it on and off. For the rest: keep up the great work. Compliments!

Grts Ronald (NL)

googol
Hello! Have a look at http://wiki.openlp.org/Feature_Requests#Songs

"Bilingual songs - Store multiple translations against a song, and display them together (with optional separator/colours) (See easislides or songbeamer for examples)"

Cheers

icicle Hi, today I noticed, that this is the only missing feature, which blocks our migration to OpenLP 2.0. Will it be implemented in the future?
icicle Does this mean it is planned for a version after 2.x? This would be great, because I have the impression, that this feature is used/needed widely in non-english speaking countries...
gushie
We haven't made any plans yet beyond 2.0, so cannot yet say what features we'll see in the future.

ubuntius Hi, maybe i'm very late but i've written a converter, for openlp (2 lyrics to one and songbeamer (.sng) to a openlp compatible 2 language sng) https://github.com/ubuntius/OpenLP-2-Languages-Convertion
