<p>sorry for not posting earlier. some comments on your issues with the media files.</p>
<p>- Images (jpg, ...): at build time that worked for me, now on a fresh system, I see that the phonon backend application was not packaged, but this is required to display these correctly. That means, as already mentioned here in the thread, png is working out-of-the-box, jpeg not. I will take care of that when packaging Alpha 2 :)</p>
<p>- Presentations: that is a really sad story on Mac. I couldn't see any forum/blog post which reported successful connection from a third-party-app to the OpenOffice application on OS X. I know it is working on Windows and Linux, but somehow on OS X this looks very different. We didn't give up hope completely, but... :(</p>
<p>- Other Media: As I can see from the error messages on my system the videos are also dependent on phonon. Usually it depends on Quicktime, but even mov files are not working correctly... That seems it is still a problem with the packaging.</p>
