This is probably very simple, but...
I have just installed OpenLP 2·0 on both my machines that are running Kubuntu 10.04. Both appear to have installed successfully, but neither one shows any song list.
The songs.sqlite file is present in local/share/openlp/songs/ but the program seems unable to find it.
What am I dong wrong?

Hello! OpenLP comes currently without any songs. You have to add them yourself or download a few sample songs. http://wiki.openlp.org/OpenLP_2_Introduction_and_FAQ#There_are_no_sample_songs_in_OpenLP :-)
Doh! Thanks. I did look around for the answer, but obviously not in the right places
Will a song database converter be available in time or should I just get typing?
If you're running Ubuntu Linux (or one of it's derivatives) and you've installed OpenLP via our PPA, you'll have the openlp-1to2-converter script already installed system-wide.
If you're on Windows, look at my blog post, Two Quick Converters.
You know what's coming next...
I am running Ubuntu (not an expert by any means) and wondering what this script is and how I use it to convert my song database from v1.
Still great software, by the way
I haven't got a Ubuntu system in front of me at this moment, but hopefully somewhere on your system you should find a openlp-1to2-converter.py

If you open your terminal, just type in:
Thanks guys. I will have a go at the conversion.
I can't wait until 2·0 is out and stable!
Keep up the good work..
