You can only use the mozilla cert store is firefox is installed, and that is unfortunately not true for all windows installations. We are currently discussing a solution which I think will work, but it hasen't been implemented yet.
So I have Internet explorer up with songselect and it still won't log me in. It keeps saying maybe I have the wrong userid and password. I tried it on my mac as well and got the same thing.
I've followed all the steps (version 2.4.5, gone to songselect website in IE) for using songselect import within OpenLP, but my songselect login isn't recognised. I've generated a log file, but don't know who to email it to.
I have tried sorting out the Songselect import, running 2.4.5 and the IE opening songselect and logging in, but it has made no difference, I still get the message about password or username incorrect. I have also opened the Debug mode of OpenLP, opened the data folder, and tried to generate the log, but cannot find the resulting log in the data folder's parent directory. I searched my drive for openlp.log, (with hidden files shown), but to no avail? Any thoughts (My data folder is a subfolder of my drive and not in the standard location - could that be why the log file is not being generated?)
@Stephen, I don't think there's a way to "import" from PPT. You can directly show PPT files in OpenLP - see the help file or post here if you have trouble with that. The other option that I know is to manually re-make each PPT into an OpenLP Song.

Is this a possible solution? "I'm going to use the Mozilla certificate store explicitly." (http://bugs.python.org/issue20916)

I am using Windows 10 and just downloaded OpenLP. Can you tell me how do I import songs which are in PPT format?
