I'm running OpenLP on Debian stretch on my Thinkpad X220, though the laptop our church uses with the projector is a very slow HP running GNU/Linux Mint. Both machines have no problem running OpenLP.
I've been meaning to do a quick tally of number of replies from each country, so here you go (so far): UK 13 USA 5 New Zealand 3 Philippines 2 Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Estonia, France, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, Sweden: 1
Hi Name is Jim I'm from Tara, Ontario, Canada. Very small town with a small but mighty Presbyterian congregation. I also preach at a church in Paisley. Actually my churches are both small but working hard to carry on. Have been using this great program for about 5 years and am so grateful to the team that has developed and maintained it.
Tim from CORUÑA (Galicia, Spain). Brethren Church, since 1875. We where using OpenSong, but it's not being updated, so merged to OpenLP, and it works better. You always miss something but gain many other features.
Have tried Easyslides (It does not directly support any video file, otherwise it's a great application), VideoPsalm (it supports only wmv video file, otherwise it's a great application) and OpenLP (still learning to know it better).
Recently concentrated on OpenLP, so so good, use the plain PowerPoint (video/sound isserted into a PPT) and VidePsalm as backups.
