Feature Request: Output 'monitor' to VLC stream

Would it be possible to add an option to output the primary display to a VLC stream.

This way multiple clients could connect to the stream, and remove the need for VGA/HDMI splitters/repeaters.
I know similar functionality is achieved with the Live View, but this obviously doesn't include video/audio.

This is an interesting request. I'm not entirely sure how we'd do that. Also, that probably would exclude presentations, because OpenLP doesn't control their output, it just runs PowerPoint/Impress and controls it remotely.

We used to do this with VLC so people in the creche could watch the feed. We set up VLC independently of OpenLP and it worked great to stream the service. It's been a while so I've forgotten the details, but at the time it was simple to set up.

@Jinju Church I presume you just captured the display screen? I think what @steaky1212 wants to do is not use the display screen at all, but use the streaming as the display screen. This would be a little more complicated.

Yes, I didn't appreciate that anyone would want or need to avoid using the display screen.
