Running on macOS 12.2 with OpenLP 2.9.4 and remote 0.9.7 I get a 404 error on all of the links given on both the local computer and another computer on the same network.
Any ideas as to what the issue is? I've tried changing the IP to the local IP address and I have also clicked the "Check for Updates" button.

Did you include the socket number in the URL?
Yes. If I don't give a port number in the URL it gives a different error.
Another note: the remote app on iOS works with the given IP and port.
Did you try with a different browser?
Same issue here on Mac. Tried multiple browsers and devices. The app (on android) connects without issue.
Yes. It looks the remotes folder in the data folder is empty even after clicking Check For Updates.
It sounds like you managed to delete the remote externally somehow, and now OpenLP thinks that the remote is installed, but it's not.
Let's try clearing the version number so that you can download the web remote again.
Open TextEdit and Paste the following contents into it:
Save the file as
openlp.conf
Then go into OpenLP, File menu -> Import -> Settings. Click OK to the warning message, and then select the
openlp.conf
file you created. OpenLP will close and you'll need to open it again.Go back into the settings, and click the "Upgrade" button.
If the remote files are still being deleted, then we need to figure out what's going on with macOS, OpenLP doesn't ever delete those files.
Thank you so much, this worked. I'm not sure if I somehow deleted them accidentally or if something else happened but nonetheless, it works now.
@lando Fantastic! If it ever happens again, please let us know, it would be good to figure out how it happened, and see if there's a way to fix it.
