With fresh install of 2.4.6 on a Windows 10 PC getting error if I try to run the first time wizard:
Internet connection is stable and tested with allowing OpenLP through firewall, as well.
Realise this is an issue other have had previously but found no working solution - other than maybe going to get.openlp.org in Internet Explorer which is now no longer available.
Relevant log file:
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I expect that if you go to https://get.openlp.org/ in Edge, that'll do the trick, though it's just a guess.
Unfortunately that doesn't seem to have worked, still getting the same error.
Hi,
I have the same problem.
For me the workaround doesn't work.
I'm running Windows 10 64bit. A visit to https://get.openlp.org/ in IE, Edge, Chrome, reboot, reinstall etc. doesn't work.
I've checked the Firewall too. My laptop is based on a Clevo Chassis, with maxed out RAM and i7 8-core processor.
Maybe it'll work in Church on an iMac, but testing it at home home on my laptop at present a no-no. The internet connection is good and achieved speeds in excess of 100mb/s.
Any help wold be much appreciated.
Same problem here. Nothing seems to work.
Ditto.
Just downloaded v2.4 and got this error as well. Tried re-running the First Time Wizard - several times - on a stable internet connection and get the same error every time. Help!
This is an issue with Windows, where Windows doesn't actually have all the certificates for secure connections to websites (HTTPS), and it only downloads the certificates when you visit the website. Unfortunately, OpenLP has no control over this, and has no way to force Windows to fetch the correct certificates.
Have you tried with version 2.9.4? We have changed and upgraded some stuff in that, and it might work.
Hello
While I'm adding Telugu database songs into the list it's showing an error .. kindly resolve it
@AJAY please create a new topic in the forums, and specify what error you are seeing.
Version 2.9.4 seems to have fixed it for me thank you!
