I'm using 2.94. on PC with VLC version 3.0.11. When I play an MP4 video, when it ends, OpenLP replays about 1 second of video, and then stops. I do not have "Loop Playing Media" checked. The video does not do this when played in a media player outside OpenLP.

There's a similar issue on our issue tracker, and I wonder if this is related.

Any solution?
I don't know, I haven't had the opportunity to look at it yet.
I've noticed the same thing happening on my installation.
MacBook Pro 13" Retina
MacOS Big Sur 11.6.5
OpenLP 2.9.4
The same issue happens when playing an audio, regardless of format. I.E. MP3, OGG.
Hrm, I just tried this on Linux, and I cannot reproduce it. The closest I get is a split second of the first frame in the video, but nothing more than a fraction of a second.
I'm having the same problem with OpenLP 2.9.5 on Windows 11. The VLC version I have installed is 3.0.18. It happens for both video and "linked audio" (on slides). I have "Loop playing media" de-selected (if I have it selected, it properly replays the whole thing).
Is there anything I can look at to help figure out what might be going on? I'm a software engineer, but know nothing about the OpenLP software itself. I could probably poke around if pointed in some direction.
Another thing I've noticed, but don't know if it's related: I have "Start Live items automatically" disabled in the Media preferences. However, all my media (video & linked audio) starts playing automatically during our service. I'm wondering if it's related only because it's about when media starts playing.
