Hello,
Just upgraded OpenLP to 2.9.4 and found the web view for the main is showing "Black" screen. This was working in the previous stable version but stopped working in the new version. After I upgrade I was prompted to upgrade the remote plugin which I did, and the web remote is now 0.9.7.
FYI the stage view and rest of remote functionality is working fine, just main view is showing blank.
My system setup:
Windows 10 Pro x64
OpenLP control screen - 4k
OpenLP Projector screen - 1080p
Attached log file and screenshots.

Can I ask a stupid question? Do you have something on your projector, and is it currently not blanked?
Yes, I'm currently projecting lyrics on the projector and it's not blanked :)
Hrm. Anything in the log file? I'm unable to reproduce this, though I'm on Linux.
Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue. May I know how did you resolve it?
No I didn’t “resolve” it, I fall back to version 2.4 which seems to be working fine for me, of course it means I miss out on other news features (mainly high dpi) but other functionality are working fine.
I see your screenshots are on macOS, but you say you're running Windows? Are you taking the screenshots from a Mac? Did you try a different browser?
I haven't gotten main view to work (black screen) with any version including the latest version 3.0.1 on Windows 10 or 11 64-bit since version 2.4.6. Our interface to OBS Studio depends upon main view working.
Trying different Scale and Display resolution, I discovered that the main view works if I disable the Windows Display Custom Scaling (Scale set to 100%). My Display resolution is 3840 x 2160 and I had Custom Scaling set to 200%.
That's interesting I had been struggling with the main view and I have custom scaling set as well.
I now have main view working with OBS Studio. I was able to get main view to work with resolution 3840 x 2160 and Scaling set to 125%. The windows recommended scaling of 150% will not work. There is no way to use custom geometry to "hide" the screen anymore without affecting the main view. With version 2.4.6, I overrode the display position by setting X to -1920, Y to 0, Width to 1920, and Height to 1080. Since I can't dedicate one of our two monitors to the OpenLP screen, I ended up installing a virtual monitor and set the OpenLP screen to it.
I too have the issue of the remote main view screen being (1) blank when I'm plugged into a second screen or (2) showing my desktop when I'm only using one screen (even when "Show Presentation" is selected).
The issue with changing the custom scaling is that everything on your computer becomes smaller.
My laptop is on 150% scaling in order for everything to be a normal size. But at this scaling, OpenLP's UI is too large.
When I decrease scaling to 125%, OpenLP's UI is smaller than it was in 2.4.6 (the previous version I used, in which I didn't have this problem). And of course everything else on my computer is then smaller.
So this solution isn't really working for me.
I too am having issues with this. I end up with a black screen when presenting from openLP, however it will display what is on the screen you tube, web page etc. with OBS studio or even webpage locally on Host machine .
This seems to be an issue with Windows and High DPI displays. We're looking into it.
My screen resolution is 1080 I will check the laptop as it has a higher resolution which is our streaming device..
I have the same problem, The remote main view shows black. I am using Windows, but Im using the meain remote view in another computer Im not able lo see it anywhere. It just shows black. The rest of the urls (stage, chorfds etc work fine) It only the main that doesnt work. We are desperate. What can we do?
We have a fix that will be released on the next OpenLP version (3.1.0 or 3.1.1).
