When that quarantine command didn't work for me, I tried typing it instead of copying from the blog post and pasting it into Terminal. Oddly, to me, that worked.
I also am having troubles getting OpenLP 2.9.4 or 2.9.5 to completely load. I am currently running 2.9.5 on a iMac Monterey 12.6. I have uninstalled and reinstalled OpenLP 2.9.5 and I can get through the setup process, where it asks for the song, bibles and themes. It downloads them just fine, but when it tries to start all that happens is, it loads keynote and then just sits on the splash screen. I have included a screen shot, as you can see in the bottom right corner Keynote has been loaded. Any suggestions on how I can get OpenLP to completely load?
I have somewhat good news, I finally got OpenLP 2.9.5 to load and run on my iMac. I had to uninstall it and reinstall it without the option to use the presentation module. As long as I don't make the presentation module active OpenLP loads and runs. Any ideas as to why the presentation module causes it to hang?
Thanks jednou, I figured out how to create and issue with gitlab and have created one with a screen shot of the log. The log file wasn't very long for a log file.

I'll see if I can reproduce the problem. Can you tell me if you had copied OpenLP into your applications directory yet?
Yes. I had already copied Openlp in to my applications directory
Can anyone help with this? I am currently unavailable to use the program

May I suggest that you try that?
I hope you have some success!

Brian, did you create an issue in gitlab and provide the debug log? Im able to run 2.9.5 on my MBP without the need of disabling presentations module.
No I haven't not completely sure how to do that.
